Prevod in spremna beseda: Stojan Pelko Če je kdo sploh odgovoril na več najbolj zapletenih vprašanj o tem, kako vidimo film, kako vemo, da vidimo, kako pojmi postajajo podobe in nasprotno, je to storil Gilles Deleuze. Z njegovo prvo knjigo o filmu, Podoba-gibanje, je postalo očitno, da se film ontološko kot umetnost, kot uganka zaznave in dojemanja podob v gibanju ter dojemanja gibanja v podobah vzpostavi v stiku s filozofijo. Ko je prebral dela Henrija Bergsona in razložil ključni pomen teze o deljivosti prostora in nedeljivosti gibanja, je Deleuze tudi pojasnil zakaj je lahko gibanje s filmom dospelo do svojega lastnega pojma. Zanj sta soodgovorna tudi znanost in tehnologija, ampak svoj smisel dosežeta v estetiki podobe kot pojma.
