Prevod: Spremna beseda: V francosko vas Minot so v poznih šestdesetih letih prišle “štiri gospe iz Pariza”, kot so jim pravili vaščani, in se lotile etnološkega terenskega dela. Ena se je ukvarjala s ceremonialnimi potmi po vaškem ozemlju, z nabiralništvom in solidarnostjo lovcev, druga je opravljala mikroraziskavo treh vaških ženskih figur, ki zagotavljajo nemoten potek obredov v vasi, tretja je preučevala zemljiško strukturo, četrta, Zonabendova, pa sorodstvo, identiteto in modalitete spomina. Pred nami je etnološka raziskava, ki je hkrati antropološka zgodba o “Času skupnosti” (od sveta otroštva na vasi do dni mladosti, zarok in smrti) in “Družinskem času” (od časa enega življenja do spominjanja časa).
